If you focus very carefully, you should be able to see a portion of rainbow.
Colleague said when you see a rainbow, you should make a wish. Lets see if it comes true. :)

Fireworks!!!
All my stress, my unhappiness and worries have been swept away momentarily by today's fireworks display!!!
For the 1st time in my life, I get to see fireworks at close distance from the balcony of my house! Yipee!
It's the opening ceremony of AMKHub and there was a firework display at 9pm. Was so excited when i saw the first few sparkles went up from my room window. Quickly picked my phone to capture the moment for my ma, who missed it coz she went for night class.
Seeing the real thing is so different from seeing it from my video clip lor (due to the lousy resolution of my phone camera). No kick. But still... better than nothing rite?
Dears, you are the ones whom I wanna share this moment with and I've already or will be sending it to u soon! You know who you are! No need to request k? Hope it also helps to relieve ur stress for that short moment. Cheers! :)
What's up this week?
Monday - After all the preparation last week, it's finally "presentation" time. Attended my first staff committee meeting and saw the present CEO and most of the group heads. There was this guy whom came into the boardroom and started wondering around. My colleagues quickly asked if I prepared additional files. I questioned who that guy is and they looked at me and say he is the new CEO. Ohhh... But I din't prepare additional file for him... Oops! So, my colleague lend him her file while we shared. :p
Tuesday - It was meeting after meeting again... Went in for some meeting on transportation policy and system requirement to cater for the change. Of coz, kena lots of arrows for the policy changes. *faint*
Wednesday - On medical leave. Down with gastric. Actually this has been on-going juz that it got quite bad today and was feeling dizzy too. Went to see doc n he suggested either a scope or 1-month medication. I chose the latter. Hope this will solve the problem. Brother has been asking me to seriously consider a scope. Argh!! Scared. x_x
Thursday - Back to work. Feeling kinda blur from the medication. Colleagues kept asking me to eat n eat. :p Cleared a few stuff on hand and din't do much OT. :)
Friday - Feeling abit demoralised. Kena arrows again on some policy matters, sat in for director's meeting and kena asked questions that I dunno the answers and need to find out more. Deedlith accompanied me home after work, trying very hard to cheer me up. Thanks! :(
Today - Still on-going. Aunty Betty came to teach us how to make mooncakes. It's green tea flavored snow skin mooncakes - still in the fridge. I should take a photo of the end product before it end up in my stomach. *hee*
Busy Week
My life this week has been work, work and more work. Set my first working late record (which I think would be easily broken in time to come). OT till 10 plus on Wednesday. By the time I got home, settled down, it was already near 12midnite. Was damn tired. X_X
Thursday was department's meeting at 11am at a coffee place. Boss spoke about our outstanding list of work and deadline. Department meeting lasted for 1.5 hours before we headed to this Tan Queh Lan Street (near Bugis) for lunch @ Indulgtz Bistro. The restaurant has gone great ambience, with nice soothing music and really quite therapatic. We ate till 3pm before walking back to office. With that long break from work, it's of coz more OT again... But was quite tired already, so din't do till too late.
Today was more work coz din't manage to clear them yesterday. Need to catch my boss to clear some issues before he flies off tomorrow for a long 3-week course in France.
After work, it was September's Ladies Nite (organised by BL)! De-stress. It was at Marina Sq's Kenny Roger. Like it coz... it's near my working place and I can just walk over. :p Company was great but PP cldn't join us. No full attendance. :(
The me now - super tired... suffering from back ache and on the verge of falling asleep... Cannot take it anymore... Going to bed le.
Ratatouille
Met Cousins Doh Reh Mih & Aunty Alice for "Ratatouille" movie juz now after work @ AMKHub.
Thot I nearly couldn't make it as last min in ofc, I was informed that I m supposed to be doing the department's budget and the deadline is... TODAY. Great! Nobody told me anything before hand. Nobody sent me anything on budget and I am expected to perform miracle. Haiz... Anyway, I told boss I am rushing off for a movie and off I went. Leave it till tomolo then. :p
The movie was enjoyable. I enjoyed myself very much. Hmmm... I think I enjoyed myself more compared to the Jay Chou's "Secret". Oops. :p
Strongly recommend for kids and adults. You might learn to like rats and see them from a different light after the movie?
It's all in the "Hello" & "Goodbye"
Have you ever paid close attention to the conversations with your loved ones or did you juz take them for granted?
Many often than not, if you ever notice, the way everyone said "Hello" & "Goodbye" sounded different.
For work purposes, those r juz dreadful out-of-courtest 'hi' & 'bye'. How many really mean it as a form of greeting?
For loved ones, their "hello" & "goodbye" would probably be the sweetest coz it was said with so much care, concern & feelings. And only those on the same "frequency" would feel it, love it and treasure it. Pple who are on different "wavelength" would most probably find it mushy, irritating or unbearable.
So, from now onwards, try listening to those "hello" & "goodbye" with your heart and confirm your "frequency" and "wavelength"... :)
Steamboat Dinner
Appointment with yck gang today.
Supposed to join them for karaoke singing at Chinatown but... I overslept and woke up at the time we were supposed to meet. :p
Joined them for the dinner appointment at 6.10pm instead. Dinner was steamboat along Liang Seah's street. Restaurant was this "Xian De Lai Shanghai's Cuisine". The yck company was great but food wasn't really - we ended up eating lots of veg. (PS: I am more a meat eater. Hee)Dunno why those meat we ordered din't come until we make a complaint. This was also one of the longest dinner we had. Ate for a good 3 hours before calling it a day.
Thanks to YW for organising this in celebration of RY's birthday.
Ok... The next YCK gang's gathering would be to celebrate YW's and CS's birthdays. Hmmm.. Where shld we go n wat shld we eat?
