I think the appearance outcome could have been better. Yet to taste it as it's still in the process of freezing. Will let you know if it's a success or it's only a can-see-cannot-eat! haha...
Teambuilding Again
Today, our department had another round of teambuilding - BBQ session at East Coast Park
Weeks ago, the BBQ pit was booked, food was ordered, and bus has been chartered...
The coach arrived at 5.15pm today and we set off for East Coast Park by 5.30pm. The feeling of taking the bus ride feels like the last time we went for our JB teambuilding. This time, we chose to sit at the back n joked all the way to our destination.
There were lots of food and the company was wacky! We played "taboo", "police & thief" and had a good laugh (until my stomach muscle aches!) Of coz, some chance to mingle around with pple from different department n laughed together too.
Overall was quite fun. :) We left for home near 10pm. Luckily, there was no rain for the nite.
Happy Father's Day

How about a Game of Pool?

What Color Car Should You Drive?
You Should Drive a Blue Car
You're the type of driver who isn't hung up on the what car you drive.
You don't need a flashy car to show off your wealth or style.
Instead, you go for value and reliability. You're quite practical.
You're a great driver, but you don't show off. Part of your skill is not standing out on the road.
Sounds quite true except the last sentence on me being a great driver. I failed my driving test so badly that even my instructor got shocked. So how great a driver can I be? Hmmm...

Choice & Alternative
Human Beings are weird... (or is it just me?)
When you are given a choice, you can't make up your mind which one to pick...
When you dun have a choice, you long for alternative...
Am I too greedy or fickle-minded?
Argh! *frustration

What Rose Represents Your Love
Your Love is Represented by a Purple Rose
You totally believe in love at first sight.
If a relationship is right, you know it from the start.
You're often sure of your feelings.
And you're not afraid to express them.
Got this from Daphne's blog. First 3 statements true. But last 2 sentences abit not me. :p
In Experimental Mood Again...
My colleague, Pauline, has passed me some cake making receipes. As my house doesn't have a functioning oven, am quite happy that these receipes don't require baking. Tried the strawberry marshmellow cake today.
Instruction:
Base :
7pcs digestive biscuits
60-80 gm melted butter
Crushed digestive biscuits and mix well with melted butter. Press into a 7” square or round cake ring. Refrigerate for later use.
Marshmallow filling:
150gm of marshmallow (20 big pcs plain)
150ml of HL milk 150ml of whip cream (diary whip cream) – I used Emborg brand from NTUC, Cold Storage etc
1 tsp of gelatine powder
Put all the ingredients into a pot. Doubleboil over small fire until marsmallow and gelatine is dissolved.
Jello topping:
1 pkt of strawberry Jelly
300 ml of water
1 tsp of gelatine powder
Boil all ingredients until dissolved.
Assembling the cake:
Pour marshmallow filling into the prepared baking tin with biscuit base.
Put in freezer until slightly harden but not totally frozen.
Take it out and arrange sliced fresh strawberries.
Put it back to freezer to harden a little.
When slightly harden take it out and pour the slightly cool Jello on it.
Put in fridge to chilled. Cut into small pieces to serve.
Optional: You can also arrange some sliced fresh strawberries on the biscuit base just before pouring in the marshmallow

Food-tasting verdict:
Worth a try. Taste yum! haha...
Suggestion for improvement -
* Can add some milk to the biscuit level to soften the base.
* My jelly is kinda hard. Could have added more water too.
Should try it again nxt time! (when I am in a mood to experiment again)
