Merry Christmas with this 100th Post
Ho Ho Ho!
You are reading to the 100th Post of my humble blog...
On this joyous festive season, here's wishing all readers "A Merry Christmas & A Happy 2007 ahead!"
Poor Arowana
Early this morning at 4am plus, my beauty sleep was disturbed by "Splatter Splatter" coming from outside my room.
I woke up to check the source...
To my surprise, I found dad's pet Arowana fish, flipping & flopping on the floor!! Oh my god! I quickly went to wake my sound-asleep dad. Think he was shocked too. "How to catch?" The fish is quite big (about 1 meter long?) Dad finally used a towel to catch and return it to the tank.
After such a long time struggling on the floor, we were surprised that the fish can still swim! But poor Arowana lost a few scales on the floor... The reason for the jump remains unknown. Looks like we'll have to monitor the poor Arowana's condition for the next few days to make sure it's really alright.

Ladies Night to Celebrate Xmas
After a long day @ work, where no one seemed to be in the mood for work, where the christmas party celebration seemed to be a let-down (coz people were saying "why you all play this kinda games?" etc etc), I was really exhausted.
Really looking forward to this evening, where my dear buddies have arranged to meet up @ VivoCity for ladies night to celebrate Christmas and Gift Exchange! Have shopped around for the past few weekends for the gifts and now is the time to do exchange.
As my office christmas celebration ended late, I took a cab to Serangoon NE station then a train ride to HarbourFront. Upon reaching HarbourFront, I saw VivoCity for the first time... Wow! Big! And... I lost my way there... haha... Took me a good half an hour to locate my friends. That was a lot of walking.
Dinner was at Hong Kong Kim Gary (with nice scenery of Sentosa from behind), followed by the gifts exchange. Thanks Girls, for the great company and the gifts! *Muacks*
The Most Creative Christmas Present...
The most creative christmas present I have received so far comes from... my colleagues, Xiao Xin and Xiao Kui...
In fengshui, it's believed that cactus can "absorb" the evil "qi" around you. So, Xiao Xin and Xiao Kui got me a real nice pot of cactus and asked me to talk and sing to the cactus so that it'll grow well... haha...
Hope this beautiful cactus will blossom and help block off all evil sources around me @ work... *hee hee*
Raindrops keep falling on my head
It has been pouring since yesterday night... For the past 24 hours...
This morning, going to work is a challenge. I waited 1/2 hour for my bus. The bus stop was flooded and cars seemed to enjoy travelling at fast speed and splashing water onto the commuters at the bus stop... Sicko drivers who enjoy seeing us drenched... Haiz...
Lunch time was out to Northpoint for last minute Christmas shopping for office stuff. Returning to office is another challenge. It was so hard to get a cab and we were drenched again by the time we got back to office.
By the time we knocked off from work, the rain is still pouring... But probably that would mean nice weather to zzz. hee
Lesson Learnt: You can't please everyone
Have been arrowed to be in the Christmas taskforce for the department... Think it happens to all new people who joined.
While planning for the celebration, I realised that it's not easy to please everyone...
Planned something - some like, some complain, some talk behind your back... *argh*
Dampen my festive planning mood. Now, I heck care oso. So long as you have food to eat, stupid games to play, I dun care what you say. (Since I can't please ALL of you)
Next time, if you want things you like, you can go ahead and plan it Yourselves...

My New Idol?
Recently, I have been listening to Jay Chou's songs... Found him a very talented artist... Can compose songs, write lyrics, play piano, play violin, play drum and what else have you...
I even had his picture up on my home msn display...
My colleague found me a big poster of him and now he is being "pinned" at my cubicle... Pleasing to the eyes. Every now and then, I would turn my head to look at the poster... Helps release stress... Thanks to Xiao Xin for the trouble to find me that nice big poster...
Isn't he cool? And yes, this is the poster... Haha...

On the Recovery Road
Dear all,
In case you are wondering what happened to me after puking and running loo last Friday and Saturday... Thanks for your concerns...
Here's a little update:
I am on the road to recovery...still...
Missed my karaoke session with YW, ML & PP on Sunday. *sob sob* They called to sing me my favorite "muz-sing" karaoke song and recorded my favorte duet for me... I am so so touched. Thanks Pals! Muacks Muacks!! Lots of Hugs & Kisses!!!
For the whole of this week, I continue to survive on light meals. Appetite is still bad. Ate small small portion each meal and look so pale that my colleagues noticed and commented.
Okie. Going to rest... Will find time to blog and update again.

There's once when I had mild food poisioning and doctor gave me 2 days straight. Face and lips turn pale.
Doc said: No milo. There's milk inside =(
It's my daily drink too...I steer clear of it for 3 weeks when doctor said 2 weeks...
Another idea- you take red dates and wolf berries every morning. It's nutritious and nice to drink. Good for eyes and ur red blood cells.
