A Day Out With My Family

It has been quite a long while since we last went out for an outdoor activity as a family.

This outing was triggered by an innocent request from mum, saying that she wished to experience cycling althou she can't cycle. So, Cousins Doh, Reh, Mih, Brother and I planned this trip to East Coast Park.

The weather looked gloomy, with rain clouds threatening to start a downpour any minute. But that din't dampen our spirit. We set off with the good company of Godma, Aunty No. 4, and Cousins Doh, Reh, Mih, Yix.

The weather at East Coast Park looked just fine. Perfect for cycling. We rented 3 double-seated bicycles and took turns to cycle. It was a first-time experience on a double-seated bicycles for most of us. Mum shared the bike, with dad pedalling and steering at the front seat. Hee. It was funny to hear how mum and dad nearly banged into a dustbin when negotiating a turn! *hahaha*

We returned our bikes after a good 2-hour cycling, played some beach volley and soccer before proceeding for dinner and returning home.

It has been a fun-filled day, althou some of us suffered from butt-ache after sitting on the hard bicycle seats. ;p
